Azerbaijani Tobacco Factory Begins Production for Export to Italy
Azerbaijani tobacco processing factory, OAO "Azertertun," begins production for export to Italy using advanced equipment.

On November 2nd, the tobacco processing factory OAO "Azertertun" in Zagatala, Azerbaijan, has commenced the production of cured tobacco, with its principal products destined for export to Italy.

 

This factory not only stands out in the South Caucasus region but also throughout the entire Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS). It utilizes advanced production equipment from the United States, Italy, and Germany.

 

According to the general manager of OAO "Azertertun," a total of 620.1 hectares of tobacco were cultivated in Balakan, Zagata, Gakh, Sheki, Oguz, and other areas this year. It is estimated that this batch of tobacco will yield 470 tons of processed fine-cut tobacco.
