BAT Launches New glo HYPER Tobacco Device with HEATBOOST Technology
British American Tobacco Japan launches new standard heated tobacco device glo HYPER with HEATBOOST technology and affordable price.

According to a report by Newskakaku on August 8th, British American Tobacco (BAT) Japan announced the launch of a new standard model of their heated tobacco device, glo HYPER.

The newly launched "glo HYPER" utilizes the latest heating technology "HEATBOOST technology" from the flagship model "glo HYPER pro", achieving a maximum heating temperature of 300 degrees. It also features a "TASTE SELECT dial" that allows users to choose different heating modes, while maintaining a "high-end design" at a more affordable price.

In addition, the flagship model will be equipped with a simple "LED display" instead of the "EASYVIEW screen," making it easy to see the equipment status such as remaining charge and heating process.

The standard heating time is 4 minutes and 30 seconds, which is 30 seconds longer than the previous model (4 minutes). The charging time has also been reduced compared to the previous model, with a full charge taking approximately 90 minutes. One quick charge can provide 20 heating sessions.

The device measures 36.4mm (width) x 95.4mm (height) x 21mm (thickness) and weighs 86.7 grams. It comes in three body colors: graphite black, peacock green, and rose gold.

The product is priced at 2,480 yen and will be available for purchase starting on August 6th at online stores. It will be available in major convenience stores and supermarkets nationwide starting on August 26th, and will be gradually released in tobacco shops starting on September 2nd.
