Belarus Parliament Member Discusses Plans to Ban E-cigarette

Belarusian Parliament member Victor Kondratovich announced on STV that Belarus is preparing to ban e-cigarettes.

According to recent reports by Tochka, Belarus National Assembly member Viktor Kondratovich stated on STV that Belarus is preparing to ban e-cigarettes.

At the last meeting of the Republic Committee, this issue was discussed. The chairman of the Republic Committee instructed that the issue should be studied and a bill should be proposed to ban e-cigarettes.

It is reported that people in Belarus are becoming addicted to e-cigarettes as young as 10 years old.

According to a study conducted in Belarus in 2021 by the Health Science and Practice Center under the coordination of the Ministry of Health, over 15% of children use e-cigarettes.
