Brazil's Paraná Police Seize $4,000 Worth of E-cigarettes; Shop Accused of Selling to Teenagers
Police in Paraná, Brazil, seized about $4,000 worth of e-cigarettes from a shop near a school in Cascavel, accused of selling to teens. E-cigarette sales are banned nationwide under Anvisa Resolution No. 855/2024.

【2Firsts News Flash】According to toledowebagora on July 26, the Civil Police of Parana State in Brazil (PCPR) confiscated approximately 22,000 Brazilian reais (around $4,000) worth of e-cigarettes at a commercial establishment in Cascavel, in the northern part of the state.

 

According to civil police (PC), the shop located near the school was found selling these devices to teenagers, who then brought these products into the school.

 

According to Resolution No. 855/2024 of the Brazilian National Health Surveillance Agency (Anvisa), the production, import, sale, and distribution of these products are prohibited in Brazil.

 

According to PC, a man was taken to the police station and all materials from the store were confiscated.
