According to updated trade data from the General Administration of Customs of the People's Republic of China, 2FIRSTS has compiled e-cigarette export data from China to Indonesia in August 2023. The details are as follows:

The export volume reached approximately 7.43 million US dollars, showing a month-on-month growth of 20.14% and a year-on-year growth of 5.42%.

The export volume reached 112,792 kilograms, equivalent to 113 tons, representing a month-over-month increase of 33.97% and a year-over-year increase of 22.97%.

The export unit price is $65.86 per kilogram, representing a 10.32% decrease compared to the previous period and a 14.27% decline year-on-year. Specifically, the average price of "e-cigarettes and similar personal electronic vaporizing devices" is $7.19 per unit.

According to data from Statista, the revenue of the e-cigarette market in Indonesia is projected to reach $400 million in 2023. The market is expected to have an annual growth rate of 2.77% from 2023 to 2028. In terms of per capita consumption of e-cigarettes, it is estimated that Indonesia will reach $1.77 per person in 2023. The e-cigarette market in Indonesia is experiencing rapid growth due to its young population, increasing disposable income, and lack of strict regulations.
