Update on China's E-cigarette Exports to Kazakhstan in August 2023
According to the latest trade data from the General Administration of Customs of the People's Republic of China, 2FIRSTS has analyzed the e-cigarette exports to Kazakhstan in August 2023. The details are as follows:
The export value amounted to approximately $29.08 million (equivalent to RMB 210 million), experiencing a decline of 17.72% compared to the previous period, and a significant drop of 75.69% compared to the same period last year.
The export volume was 60,369 kilograms, approximately 60 tons, with a month-on-month decrease of 31.09% and a year-on-year decrease of 79.37%.
The export unit price was $48.18 per kilogram (approximately 351 RMB per kilogram), increasing by 19.40% compared to the previous period and by 17.87% compared to the same period last year. Among these, the average price of e-cigarettes and similar personal electronic vaporizers was $45.07 per unit.
According to Statista's data forecast, the e-cigarette market revenue in Kazakhstan is expected to reach $62.6 million by 2023. It is projected to grow at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 6.61% from 2023 to 2028. Taking into account the total population, the per capita income in Kazakhstan is $3.98 in 2023. Furthermore, the popularity of e-cigarettes among the younger generation is rapidly increasing.
