Customs at Shenyang Taoxian Airport Seize 4000 Tobacco Pods

Shenyang Taoxian Airport customs officers seize 20 undeclared IQOS pods totaling 4000 cigarettes from passenger. Items confiscated.

Recently, customs officers at Shenyang Taoxian Airport found a passenger illegally carrying an excessive amount of heated tobacco pods through the customs entry channel.

After opening the luggage for inspection and conducting an on-site inventory, the passenger was found to be carrying 20 packs of IQOS special pods, totaling 4000 pieces, without declaring them to customs. Currently, Shenyang Taoxian Airport Customs has temporarily confiscated the illegally imported products in accordance with regulations.

According to the customs regulations in our country, passengers entering the country can bring in up to 2 tobacco products duty-free; e-cigarette pods with a liquid capacity of no more than 12ml. Passengers traveling to and from Hong Kong and Macau are allowed to bring in up to 1 tobacco product duty-free; e-cigarette pods with a liquid capacity of no more than 6ml.
