
British American Tobacco has recently unveiled its range of new tobacco products to be launched over the course of the next decade, from 2013 to 2023. Over the span of ten years, the company has diversified its portfolio and entered into the e-cigarette, heat-not-burn, and nicotine pouch sectors. A total of 38 innovative tobacco products have been introduced by British American Tobacco during this period.

In 2013, British American Tobacco launched its first vape product, Vuse Solo. In 2016, they introduced the heat-not-burn product, glo, for the first time in Japan. In 2018, they debuted nicotine pouch products in Sweden.

In November 2019, British American Tobacco consolidated all new tobacco products into three major brands – VUSE (vape), VELO (nicotine pouches), and GLO (heat-not-burn).

In July 2013, the first ever vape called Vuse Solo was introduced in the United States, while in the United Kingdom, the Vype e-cigarette was introduced.

In 2014, two new tobacco products were introduced: the ePen (1st generation) and the Vype eStick.

In 2015, two products were introduced: glo iFuse and Vype eTank. Additionally, the leading e-cigarette company in the Polish market, CHIC Group, was acquired.

In 2016, the company introduced five products: glo 1st generation, Vuse Vibe, Vype eBox, Vype eTank Pro, and Vype Pebble. In April, they acquired the British e-cigarette company Ten Motives, further emphasizing their commitment to the new tobacco business. In November, their first heat-not-burn product, glo, was launched in Sendai, Japan.

In 2017, the company launched two products: the Vype ePen (2nd generation) and the Vype eStick Maxx. In July, they also acquired Reynolds American Inc., further expanding their presence in the emerging tobacco industry.

In 2018, a total of seven products were launched, including Lyft Ice Cool, Vuse Ciro, Vuse Alto/ePod, Vype iSwitch, glo Series2, Vuse ePen3, and Vype eTank Pro2. Additionally, a nicotine pouch was introduced in Sweden.

In 2019, the company launched six new products: glo Series 2 Mini, glo Series 2 Luxury Edition, glo Nano, glo Sens, glo Pro, and Veto Ice Cool. In September, they acquired TWISP, a South African e-cigarette company. In November, they consolidated all their new tobacco products under three major brands: VUSE (vape), VELO (nicotine pouches), and GLO (heat-not-burn).

In 2020, two products were launched: glo Hyper and Vuse ePod2, with the aim of reaching a revenue of £5 billion in a new category by 2025 and having 50 million consumers using their non-combustible products by 2030. In November, the company acquired Dryft, a modern oral products business, to further strengthen its portfolio of innovative tobacco products in the United States.

In 2021, three new products were launched: glo Hyper+, glo Pro Slim, and Vuse eTank Mini. In July, Vuse became the world's first carbon-neutral e-cigarette brand. In September, Vuse became the world's leading e-cigarette brand in terms of market value share. In October, Vuse Solo became the first e-cigarette product to receive marketing authorization from the U.S. FDA.

Three products will be launched in 2022: glo Hyper x2, Vuse GO 500, and Vuse GO Ma. In May, Vuse Vibe and Vuse Ciro obtained marketing authorization from the US FDA.
