The "Digital Transformation Forum of the Electronic Cigarette Industry" was held successfully in Shenzhen on June 29th.

On the afternoon of June 29th, the "Digital Transformation Forum for the Electronic Cigarette Industry" was successfully held at the JW Marriott Hotel in Shenzhen's Qianhai Overseas Chinese Town. The event was sponsored by the Electronic Cigarette Committee of the China Electronic Commerce Association (CECA), and co-organized by Huaruizhi Technology and Shenzhen Parameter Leadership Technology Co., Ltd. In attendance were leading figures including Yao Jide, Chairman of the Electronic Cigarette Committee of the CECA, Huang Guihua, Executive Vice Chairman, Wang Fushan, Deputy Secretary General of the CECA, as well as Li Yonghai, Li Min, and Aonuowei, respectively Vice Chairpersons and Secretary General of the Electronic Cigarette Committee. Also present were guests from Huaruizhi Technology, such as Wu Xinxiong, General Manager, and Tang Du, Director of the PLM Department, as well as representatives from various companies such as Yijiate, Jiner, Saimer, Yihai, Meizhonglian, and Pindu, totaling over a hundred participants. The atmosphere was lively as attendees interacted and exchanged ideas with experts.

 

Chairman Yao Jide of the Electronic Cigarette Committee delivered a speech, stating that "In January of this year, the State Council issued the '14th Five-Year Plan for the Development of the Digital Economy', elevating the digital economy to a strategic height of the country and promoting the deep integration of digital technology with the real economy, empower traditional industries to transform and upgrade. As the electronic cigarette industry enters a new stage of legalized development, digital transformation is the trend of the industry's development and an important lever to promote high-quality development. Digitalization and informatization are of great significance to the transformation and upgrading of the industry. Leveraging the advantages of international platforms such as SAP and PTC, we hope to use this forum as an opportunity to promote the popularization of professional knowledge of digital transformation within the industry, empower the standardized and high-quality development of the electronic cigarette industry.

 

Tang Du, the Director of the PLM Business Unit at Huawei Software Intelligent Technology, stated in his speech that the company is a comprehensive digital solution and service provider. Their aim is to help enterprises with digital management and transformation, enabling more companies to understand the value of digital transformation, and creating a stronger digital atmosphere. This will benefit electronic cigarette businesses in transitioning from manufacturing to "smart manufacturing.

 

Ding Yufeng, a senior solution architect at SAP, gave a comprehensive presentation on "SAP Helps the Electronic Cigarette Industry Build Smart Enterprises and Achieve Digital Flight". Ding introduced SAP's ability to optimize and standardize material and BOM master data, build an agile supply chain system, create a financial and business integrated platform based on group control mode, and achieve visual business analysis and other key scenarios.

 

PLM senior consultant Liu Feng shared his presentation entitled "Market-oriented PTC Product Innovation Digital Mainline." Liu Feng analyzed the digital innovation mainline from a product perspective, focusing on the core value chain of customers, products, and teams. He provided in-depth explanations on topics such as the overall architecture for market-oriented innovation and planning of the main value chain.

 

Expert in quality systems at the Shenzhen Strong Quality Promotion Association, Ji Yu, shared her experience on "FDA system compliance construction and PTCPLM construction in the electronic cigarette industry." Ji introduced her experience in three areas: regulatory requirements for quality management systems in the electronic cigarette industry, experience in quality management systems within the industry, and the process of system construction in the medical device industry. She believes that combining industry with IT management systems can solve compliance issues while also enhancing overall enterprise management levels. Ji recommended that enterprises refer to mature processes to establish an executable process system that fits their own company.

 

Li Jinjun, IT Director at Huawei Software Intelligence, shared his insights on "Enterprise Data Center Construction" as a guest speaker. With a focus on technology, he provided innovative perspectives on the new challenges facing data centers in the digital age, modular data center construction solutions, IT infrastructure construction schemes for data centers, and private desktop cloud construction schemes for data centers. This fresh perspective highlights the benefits of data center construction – including the integration of resources to assist companies in becoming more data-driven and to establish a foundation for a flexible, fast, stable, and secure IT infrastructure.

 

With the flourishing development of digital technology and its infiltration, diffusion, and integration in the industrial economy field, digital transformation has become a new driving force for China's industries to move towards the high-end of the global value chain. The expert committee has teamed up with international leading digital companies SAP and PTC to share digital transformation topics with member companies, such as digital operations, product innovation, FDA compliance system construction, and enterprise data center construction. This provides new solutions to effectively reduce production costs, improve operational efficiency and service quality, and enhance corporate innovation capabilities, thereby helping the e-cigarette industry achieve high-quality development.
