JTI Discontinues HTP Brand Ploom to Launch Brand WITH

According to a report from IT Media, Japan Tobacco Inc. (JTI) announced on June 29th that it will discontinue the sale of its device Ploom Tech, which heats tobacco without burning it, until the remaining stock is sold out. At the same time, the company plans to launch a new brand called WITH during the summer.

With the termination of Ploom Tech, all six brands dedicated to this product will cease production after December. Starting from the end of August, they will only be available for purchase on the "CLUB JT online store".

The product in question that has been discontinued is the "Ploom Tech Starter Kit 1.5" available in white, black, bright green, and deep silver colors. Also, the "Ploom Tech Plus Starter Kit 1.5" is available in modern black, pure white, black, and white options.

The discontinued brands include "Mevius Regular," "Mevius Menthol," "Mevius Purple," "Mevius Red Cooler," "Mevius Gold Regular," and "Mevius Gold Menthol," all of which are exclusive to Ploom Tech.

The design and price of the new product with have not been fully disclosed yet.
