China's E-Cigarette Exports to the UAE in September 2023
China's e-cigarette exports to the UAE in September 2023 fell by 13.40% MoM but grew by 42.46% YoY, valued at $14.98 million.

According to the latest trade data updated by the General Administration of Customs of the People's Republic of China, 2FIRSTS has compiled the e-cigarette export data from China to the United Arab Emirates in September 2023. The details are as follows:

The exports amounted to approximately 14.98 million dollars, representing a month-on-month decrease of 13.40%, but a year-on-year growth of 42.46%.

The export quantity reached approximately 356 tons, marking a month-on-month decrease of 10.80% while exhibiting a year-on-year growth of 80.86%.

The export unit price dropped by 2.91% month-on-month and 21.23% year-on-year, reaching $42.06 per kilogram. The average price for "e-cigarettes and similar personal electronic vaporizers" stood at $4.68 per unit.

Among them, "e-cigarettes and similar personal electronic vaporization devices" account for 16.81% of the export category, while "non-combustible products containing nicotine and not made from or derived from tobacco" account for 83.19%.

According to forecasts by Statista, the revenue of the e-cigarette market in the United Arab Emirates is projected to reach $59.3 million by 2023. It is expected to have a compound annual growth rate of 9.22% from 2023 to 2028. On a per capita basis, the average e-cigarette consumption in the UAE is estimated to be $6.93 in 2023. The popularity of e-cigarettes in the UAE is steadily increasing, with a growing number of consumers opting for e-cigarette usage.
