French MPs Propose E-Cig Ban to Take Effect by Year's End
French lawmakers submit a bill to ban e-cigarettes, aiming for passage by year-end.

According to French media outlet BFM, French parliamentarians submitted a bill on July 12 to ban e-cigarettes, with a plan to enact the law by the end of this year.

The lawmakers stated that the rationale for their proposed ban is that e-cigarettes not only cause environmental pollution but also pose a threat to the health of teenagers.

Previous reports mentioned that French Health Minister François Braun suggested on May 3 that the French government could potentially ban disposable e-cigarettes by the end of this year and expressed his support for issuing the ban.
