【2Firsts News Flash】According to a report from Voronezh News on July 14, the consumer rights supervision agency in the Voronezh region of Russia discovered a website on the internet that was promoting the remote sale of tobacco products without restrictions. Upon review, the website was open to all users, including minors, without the need for registration or password, and there were no information copy restrictions.
This behavior violates federal laws regarding protection of citizens from the effects of tobacco smoke. The regulations specifically prohibit the remote sale of cigarettes and other tobacco products.
The watchdog has filed a lawsuit against the Soviet District Court in Voronezh. The court ruled that the information on the website is prohibited from being disseminated within Russia. This decision has already taken effect and is being enforced.
