According to a report from the UK retail website betterretailing, PMI Limited (PML) has launched its next-generation IQOS Iluma device in the UK market.
According to publicly available information, this series consists of three devices known as Iluma One, Iluma, and Iluma Prime. These three models share the same core technology but are designed to cater to different preferences and price requirements.
Iluma One is the most affordable option in this series, retailing at £39. The retail price for Iluma is £69, while Iluma Prime, considered the most advanced device, is priced at £109.
The supplier states that this product range has numerous advantages, including the Smartcore induction system and the use of a bladeless magnetic heating system, eliminating the need for cleaning.
According to the supplier, in terms of price, they further supplemented that compared to traditional cigarettes, Iluma One is more affordable. Smokers who switch to Iluma One can save up to £3000 per year.
The suppliers explained that retailers of IQOS Original and Heets inventory can expect the same basic improvement through the new devices.
Because all three Iluma devices and Terea (the new pod) offer equivalent profit margins, Tereapod offers nine different tobacco blends to choose from. Iluma One's cash profit margin may match that of IQOS Originals. Over time, IQOS Originals will gradually phase out of the market.
