According to a recent report from IVG.it, the Italian Customs and Monopoly Agency has temporarily suspended the commercial licenses of two small markets at the Finaile Pier. This action was taken because the two markets were selling tobacco products without the necessary permits from the relevant government authorities.
Local authorities conducted an operation at establishments located in the centers of Via Pertica and Via Colombo. Police discovered that these locations were selling e-cigarettes, fragrances, and other smoking products, most of which had been illegally imported and were not accompanied by usage instructions.
After seizing the materials, local police sent the inspection results to customs and the monopolies authority, which issued judgments of temporary closure for 20 and 5 days respectively for the two markets, as well as administrative fines ranging from 10,329 to 51,645 euros.
