Japan Tobacco Inc. Stock Price Declines by 0.9% on December 5th
The stock price of Japan Tobacco Inc. (OTCMKTS:JAPAY) dropped by 0.9% on Tuesday, hitting a low of $12.87.

According to a report from wkrb13, the stock price of Japan Tobacco Inc. (OTCMKTS:JAPAY) fell by 0.9% on Tuesday, December 5th. The lowest quoted price for the company's stock was $12.87, while it closed at $12.90. During the trading session, a total of 39,332 shares changed hands, a 25% decrease from the average trading volume of 52,106 shares, which contributed to the decline in the stock price. The previous closing price was $13.02.

At a parliamentary committee meeting in South Africa, Health Minister Aaron Motsoaledi said the health department has agreed to exempt non-combustible and smokeless products — including chewing tobacco, snus, nicotine pouches and e-cigarettes — from the Tobacco Products and Electronic Delivery Systems Control Bill.
