JTI Greece CFO and PR Director Discuss Sustainable Development at Thessaloniki Summit
JTI Greece CFO Thamnidis and PR Director Karountzou shared the company's business route and innovative heated tobacco products at the Thessaloniki Summit 2023.

According to a report from Capitol, at the 2023 Thessaloniki Summit, Haralambos Thamnidis, the Chief Financial Officer of JTI Greece, and Georgia Karountzou, the Director of Corporate Affairs and Public Relations, shared the company's business roadmap in Greece, as well as its innovative heated tobacco products.

In the section "ESG and the Climate Crisis," Tamnithis outlines the main pillars of Jiyen International's sustainable development strategic plan, emphasizing that the adoption of an ESG strategy is a multidimensional and systemic issue, and not a one-way street.

He also pointed out that Ruyan International has experience in "non-obvious circumstances" and is linking its goals in the country with its global sustainable development strategy.

In fact, he expressed belief that "by continuing investments, by actively entering the popular product categories through Ploom, we will contribute to creating new business opportunities throughout the production and trade process, as well as the supply chain. Additionally, this will further increase job positions and our contribution to public revenue, while reducing our environmental footprint."
