KT&G Donates 6 Million South Korean Won to Incheon Charity
KT&G donates 6 million won to Incheon Social Welfare Mutual Aid Association in a ceremony attended by coal sharing service and university students.

According to a report from Kihoilbo on November 30, KT&G has donated 6 million Korean won to the Incheon Social Welfare Co-op. The donation ceremony took place in Mangjoo-dong, Nandong-gu, Incheon, in collaboration with the Coal Sharing Service. Representatives from KT&G and students from Jajang University Medical School participated in the event.

BlackRock increased its stake in KT&G to 5.01% after purchasing 68,646 shares, bringing total holdings to 5,914,169 shares and triggering Korea’s large-shareholding disclosure rules. KT&G shares climbed to an all-time intraday high of 153,900(about US$106.19) won and closed at a record 152,900(about US$105.50) won. KT&G is set to report earnings on Feb. 5, with consensus pointing to year-on-year growth in revenue and operating profit.

Vietnam’s Government Decree 371, effective December 31, 2025, stipulates that users of e-cigarettes and heated tobacco products will be fined VND 3–5 million (about $114–$190) and required to destroy the products. Russia’s Volgograd Police Seize Illicit Nicotine Products Worth Over US$42.9K+
Police in Russia’s Volgograd region say they seized nicotine products lacking mandatory markings valued at more than RUB 3.3 million (about US$42,900+, using RUB 1 = US$0.013). A 43-year-old suspect allegedly stored and sold the products through two retail outlets in Volgograd’s Central and Dzerzhinsky districts. A criminal case has been opened under Article 171.1(6) of the Russian Criminal Code.
