KT&G Donates 6 Million South Korean Won to Incheon Charity
KT&G donates 6 million won to Incheon Social Welfare Mutual Aid Association in a ceremony attended by coal sharing service and university students.

According to a report from Kihoilbo on November 30, KT&G has donated 6 million Korean won to the Incheon Social Welfare Co-op. The donation ceremony took place in Mangjoo-dong, Nandong-gu, Incheon, in collaboration with the Coal Sharing Service. Representatives from KT&G and students from Jajang University Medical School participated in the event.

PMI reported strong third-quarter 2025 results, underscoring the continued success of its smoke-free transformation. Net revenues rose 9.4% year-over-year to $10.85 billion, driven by robust growth in the smoke-free segment, which now accounts for 41% of total net revenues and over 42% of gross profit.Despite a 3.2% decline in cigarette shipments, combustible revenues climbed 4.3% thanks to strong pricing.

On September 4th, a team from the Manisa Provincial Gendarmerie Command seized a large quantity of smuggled cigarettes and e-cigarettes during an operation and detained a suspect. A search of the suspect's vehicle revealed 137 e-cigarettes, 530 packs of smuggled cigarettes, and 41 boxes of nicotine gum. The vehicle was towed to a trustee's parking lot, and the suspect has been charged with violating Law No. 5607 on Combating Smuggling.
