KT&G Donates 6 Million South Korean Won to Incheon Charity
KT&G donates 6 million won to Incheon Social Welfare Mutual Aid Association in a ceremony attended by coal sharing service and university students.

According to a report from Kihoilbo on November 30, KT&G has donated 6 million Korean won to the Incheon Social Welfare Co-op. The donation ceremony took place in Mangjoo-dong, Nandong-gu, Incheon, in collaboration with the Coal Sharing Service. Representatives from KT&G and students from Jajang University Medical School participated in the event.

Ukraine’s Verkhovna Rada has registered a bill that would ban the use of tobacco products, vapes, hookahs, herbal smoking mixtures and heated tobacco devices by people under 17. The bill was introduced by People’s Deputy Georgiy Mazurashu and has already been sent to the relevant parliamentary committee. Imperial Brands said it will gradually close the Reemtsma factory in Langenhagen near Hanover by 2027 after efforts to find a buyer failed to produce a sustainable agreement. The factory has produced cigarettes since 1971 and currently affects around 600 employees. The company said it had examined all realistic options over recent months but did not receive a binding offer from a potential buyer.
