Large-scale Counterfeit Cigarette Bust in Kocaeli Province, Turkey
Turkish police seize counterfeit cigarettes and arrest four suspects in Kocaeli province, Izmit, following two residential searches.

According to the latest report from Turkish media outlet Malatyaguncel, Kocaeli police seized a total of 110,000 counterfeit cigarettes bearing quality supervision marks during searches conducted at two residences. Additionally, 140,000 counterfeit hand-rolled cigarettes, both filled and unfilled, were also discovered.

 

The police conducted searches in two residences in Izmit, Kocaeli Province, resulting in the seizure of 60,000 loaded tobacco pipes, 80,000 empty tobacco pipes, and 100 e-cigarette liquids. Simultaneously, four suspects involved in the case were apprehended. The four individuals who have given testimonies are now facing smuggling charges.
