Legislative Council Members Support Ban on Nicotine Products in Kiosks
Members of the industrial committee in the Perm Territory Legislative Assembly support the governor's ban on nicotine products.

According to a report by Ura on October 24th, members of the Industrial Committee of the Legislative Assembly in the Perm Territory of Russia have shown their support for the governor's proposed bill to ban the sale of nicotine products, including e-cigarettes, in kiosks.

A draft law banning the sale of tobacco and nicotine products at kiosks has gained support from representatives on the Regional Council Economic Committee, as reported by the legislative council website of the Kamma region.

The authorities of the Perm region have drawn attention to this issue in 2022. In September of this year, Dmitry Makhonin, the regional leader, ordered the acceleration of finalizing a bill that would prohibit the sale of nicotine products at stalls and kiosks.
