A 40-year-old man in South Korea was arrested for attempted murder after being rejected for a cigarette.

A recent report by South Korean news agency Newsis reveals that a 40-year-old man was arrested by the police after attempting to commit murder with a knife, driven by anger after being refused a cigarette by a group of 20-year-old youths. The incident took place in Jeonbuk's Imsil County, and the local police have sought a warrant for the suspect's arrest.

 

It has been confirmed that a total of four individuals are involved in the dispute. The assailant got into a dispute with another young person, leading to the detention of a 40-year-old man, while the other three 20-year-old individuals are currently under non-criminal detention on suspicions of jointly committing violence. At present, the police are conducting a thorough investigation into the case.
