Man Summoned for Smoking in Lavatory: Law Violation
A 48-year-old man in the Stavropol region was summoned by police after smoking in an airplane restroom bound for St. Petersburg.

According to a report by ATVmedia on January 5, 2024, a 48-year-old man from the Stavropol region was summoned by the police to the duty department after smoking in the restroom of a flight to St. Petersburg. He was fined for violating the law prohibiting smoking in designated areas.

British American Tobacco New Zealand said the illicit tobacco trade is responsible for its profit halving and revenue falling between the 2024 and 2025 financial years.
