Manchester police and Oldham Council conducted a joint raid on a store, seizing counterfeit goods including illegal cigarettes and e-cigarettes.

In a report by The Oldham Times on September 4th, 2025, the Greater Manchester Police (GMP) in conjunction with the Oldham City Council conducted a raid at a store (Euro Shop) located on Hollins Road.

 

The police stated that the operation was based on tips provided by the public and resulted in the seizure of a large quantity of counterfeit goods, including illegal cigarettes and e-cigarettes.

 

Greater Manchester Police emphasizes the importance of cooperation and the role the public plays in helping to combat community crime.
