Maryland Passes Bill to Regulate E-cigarette Tax, Debate on Flavor Bans Continues

According to a report from the NM Tribune on November 21st, recent developments in the state of Maryland have resulted in the passing of a bill regarding the taxation of e-cigarettes. This legislation signifies a significant advancement in the regulation of Electronic Nicotine Delivery Systems (ENDS) in the state.

 

However, the debate on whether to ban flavored e-cigarette products continues, influenced by financial pressures.

Virginia has asked the Fourth Circuit to overturn a district court order that partially blocked enforcement of the commonwealth’s flavored vape ban. In a notice, the state told U.S. District Judge David J.
