Mylor Bio Launches NaSweet-C and NaSweet-X Sweeteners for Vaping Devices
At Vaper Expo May 2025, Mylor Bio Co., Ltd. is showcasing the NaSweet series of professional atomized sweetener solutions, which consists of two innovative products, NaSweet-C, designed for ceramic coil devices, and NaSweet-X, which is compatible with cotton coil devices.

[2Firsts, Birmingham, UK] — May 9, 2025 —Mylor Bio Co., Ltd. introduced its new NaSweet series sweeteners at Vaper Expo May 2025, featuring NaSweet-C for ceramic coil and NaSweet-X for cotton coil devices. Designed to improve flavor release and sweetness delivery, the products address issues like delayed sweetness and lingering aftertaste caused by traditional high-intensity sweeteners.

High-intensity sweeteners commonly used in e-liquids, such as neotame, advantame, and neohesperidin dihydrochalcone (NHDC), often suffer from sensory drawbacks including delayed sweetness onset, persistent lingering aftertaste, and sometimes metallic or bitter notes. These limitations significantly impair flavor naturalness and overall vaping comfort.

In addition, sweetness perception is influenced by aerosol particle size. Ceramic coil devices typically generate smaller aerosol particles, resulting in weaker sweetness perception and requiring higher sweetener concentrations, which increases the risk of coil burning and off-flavors. Conversely, cotton coil devices produce larger aerosol particles, offering stronger sweetness but often leading to persistent lingering aftertaste issues.

To improve overall sweetness perception or balance flavor profiles, blending multiple sweeteners has become the dominant technical solution applied by the industry. However, due to the inherent sensory shortcomings of high-intensity sweeteners, blending alone has been proved insufficient to replicate the natural sweetness characteristics of sugars, particularly in terms of flavor authenticity and aftertaste smoothness.

Since its establishment in 2019, Mylor Bio has focused on flavor chemistry research. By analyzing the sensory properties of high-intensity sweeteners and structural differences in vaping devices, and leveraging the aroma-induced taste modulation technologies (including OITE and OITS) based on sweetness receptor modulation mechanisms , Mylor Bio developed NaSweet-C and NaSweet-X specifically for ceramic and cotton coil devices, respectively.

NaSweet-C: Enhancing Sweetness Release in Ceramic Coil Devices

NaSweet-C designed for ceramic coil devices, utilizes a combination of sweetness agonists and aroma-induced taste enhancement technology (OITE) to regulate sweetness perception.

According to sensory data, NaSweet-C delivers 52% higher sweetness intensity, 50% improved sweetness naturalness, and a 24% increase in flavor intensity compared to neotame at the same concentration. In sensory evaluation of strawberry ice flavored e-liquid, NaSweet-C demonstrated a more balanced sweet-sour profile and a more multidimensional sweetness experience.

In terms of heat stability, NaSweet-C maintained consistent performance in ceramic coil devices, showing no carbon buildup or off-flavors after 1,500 puffs, ensuring stable flavor delivery throughout usage.

Notably, NaSweet-C contains no sucralose, thereby eliminating risks of structural damage to heating coils while preventing undesirable flavors caused by carbon buildup or burnt aftertaste. This innovation enhances long-term device compatibility and customer experience.

NaSweet-X: Enhancing Sweetness Onset in Cotton Coil Devices

NaSweet-X, designed for cotton coil devices, utilizes a combination of sweetness antagonists and aroma-induced taste suppression technology (OITS) to regulate sweetness perception.

According to sensory data, NaSweet-X shows a 73% faster sweetness onset compared to neotame, with a 33% reduction in sweetness retention time and a 47% increase in flavor intensity. This results in a more balanced perception of sweetness and flavor profile. Additionally, the Tmax (time to maximum sweetness intensity) advanced by 11 seconds, significantly mitigating the lingering aftertaste issue, and resulting in a cleaner, more balanced sensory profile.

The launch of the NaSweet series sweeteners marks another significant advancement for Mylor Bio in the integrated "device-flavor-sensory pathway" blending model. The two sweeteners are specifically designed to address the differences in sweetness release efficiency between ceramic and cotton coil devices, offering more targeted sensory solutions.

On-Site Experience and Industry Attention

At the exhibition, the NaSweet series sweeteners drew significant attention from both audiences and professional buyers due to its outstanding sweetness perception. The technology, which precisely addresses industry pain points and significantly enhances the sensory experience, is receiving positive feedback on-site.
