【By 2Firsts, Dubai】On June 20th, the World Vape Show Dubai 2025, which has attracted widespread attention from the global industry, entered its third day at the Dubai World Trade Center. At the exhibition site, 2Firsts found that many brands showcased a variety of new - style hookah products in different forms.

Some exhibitors told 2Firsts that at present, the Middle East and some European markets have a stable and large group of hookah users. The common flavors and usage experience of traditional e - cigarettes can no longer meet the consumption needs of these users. Therefore, many brands have successively launched new - style hookah devices that are closer to the traditional hookah experience. They hope to maintain the traditional hookah smoke volume and flavor reproduction while realizing portability and technological upgrading.

Spain’s Congress Health Committee has approved a non-binding motion calling for the sale of vapes, nicotine pouches, and related products to be limited to regulated authorized channels, excluding internet sales and non-specialized stores. The motion was introduced by the Socialist Parliamentary Group and approved after a negotiated text with the Popular Party.

UK Tobacco and Vapes Bill Receives Royal Assent, Banning Tobacco Sales to People Born After 2008

The UK government announced on April 29 that the Tobacco and Vapes Bill had received Royal Assent and become law. Under the new law, it is illegal to sell tobacco to anyone born on or after Jan. 1, 2009. The government said the law creates the UK’s first “smoke-free generation” and includes measures to ban the advertising and sponsorship of vapes and nicotine products, as well as powers to restrict packaging, branding and displays designed to appeal to children.

FDA Expands ENDS Market Access With First Authorization of Non-Tobacco and Non-Menthol Products

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) announced on May 5, 2026 that it authorized the marketing of four Glas electronic nicotine delivery system (ENDS) products through the premarket tobacco product application (PMTA) pathway. The authorized products are Classic Menthol, Fresh Menthol, Gold and Sapphire pods, each containing 50mg/ml, or 5%, tobacco-derived nicotine.
