【By 2Firsts, Dubai】On June 20th, the World Vape Show Dubai 2025, which has attracted widespread attention from the global industry, entered its third day at the Dubai World Trade Center. At the exhibition site, 2Firsts found that many brands showcased a variety of new - style hookah products in different forms.

Some exhibitors told 2Firsts that at present, the Middle East and some European markets have a stable and large group of hookah users. The common flavors and usage experience of traditional e - cigarettes can no longer meet the consumption needs of these users. Therefore, many brands have successively launched new - style hookah devices that are closer to the traditional hookah experience. They hope to maintain the traditional hookah smoke volume and flavor reproduction while realizing portability and technological upgrading.

Brazilian Research Institutions Prepare Joint Recommendations on Electronic Smoking Device Studies

Brazil’s National Cancer Institute, the Oswaldo Cruz Foundation, and other research institutions are preparing a joint letter with recommendations and guidance for studies on electronic smoking devices, including e-cigarettes, vapes, and similar products. The guidelines were discussed on April 14 and 15 at the seminar “Building a Priority Research Agenda on Electronic Smoking Devices for Brazil” in Rio de Janeiro.

Australia’s NSW Finds Lower Vaping Rates Among Teenagers Aged 14 to 17

A new report from Cancer Council’s Generation Vape research project shows that fewer teenagers in New South Wales are trying vaping after the state government introduced tougher vaping goods laws. Among surveyed NSW teenagers aged 14 to 17, the proportion who had tried vaping fell from 29.6% in April 2024 to 20.1% in October 2025.
