Recently, on the American e-cigarette website General Vape, 2FIRSTS noticed a product called the "Firerose UPLOAD", which claims to be the world's first disposable e-cigarette with a replaceable screen. The product features a detachable screen and comes with a companion app that allows for personalized screen settings and monitoring of usage.

Disposable E-cigarettes with Interchangeable Screens

Based on information provided by General Vape, the Firerose UPLOAD is equipped with a 660mAh battery and 20ml of pre-filled e-liquid (5% nicotine concentration), capable of providing approximately 25,000 puffs. The device features a dual coil design and offers two usage modes: NORM and TURBO.

It is worth noting that Firerose UPLOAD has two versions of its product. The product with a replaceable screen is priced at $19.99, while the product without a replaceable screen is priced at $15.99. Therefore, the estimated value of the screen is around $4.

According to its promotional material, the screen supports personalization settings and usage monitoring through a mobile application.

2FIRSTS downloaded the Arctic Dolphin app that came with the Firerose UPLOAD, which has an interface with four different tabs: Home, Statistics, Map, and Me, corresponding to the main page, usage statistics, map, and personal center.

Users can connect devices by scanning the QR code and using Bluetooth. The data collected can log the device connection status, smoking habits (number of cigarettes smoked per week, month, and year), flavor preferences, e-liquid levels, and battery percentage remaining.

Big Screen: Consumer Debate

Firerose UPLOAD is not the first product to market with a large screen as a selling point, but its design with interchangeable screens sets it apart from the popular disposable e-cigarette market.

The trend of disposable e-cigarettes with large screens sweeping across the United States is not being embraced by all consumers. A significant number of e-cigarette users are criticizing them as wasteful, with the biggest controversy being that these disposable e-cigarettes can only be discarded as the product is consumed. Therefore, they have concerns about the "screen waste" generated by these products.

As previously reported, the Bluetooth e-cigarette product RAMA 16000 was reviewed by a user on the "American forum" Reddit upon its release to the market.

Firerose UPLOAD appears to be offering a solution that allows users to retain control over their screens.

However, even so, with the same battery capacity in both products, the one with a screen will undoubtedly consume more power. From current reviews, users who have purchased Firerose have given generally positive feedback. On the e-cigarette website vapesourcin, users have rated it 4.7 stars.

Similarly on Reddit, some users have revealed that they purchased Firerose UPLOAD products specifically for their environmentally friendly properties.

Some users have expressed disappointment in Arctic Dolphin, stating that this application can run on iPhone, but not on Android.

According to Tianyancha, the applicant for the Firerose trademark in the 34 - Tobacco and Smoking Supplies category is Dongguan Topson Electronic Technology Co., Ltd. The company also owns the disposable e-cigarette brand ELUX.

Based on the product specifications on their respective official websites, most of ELUX's disposable products range from 600 to 800 puffs, primarily targeting the European and UK markets. However, their product Cyberover has a maximum puff count of 15,000 (vapesourcing shows 18,000 puffs, but we will go by the official website) and is sold in multiple e-cigarette online stores in the US. Firerose's official website displays 5 disposable products, with 4 of them having puff counts over 4,500. Based on the current listings on US e-cigarette online stores, Firerose will focus on the American market.

Based on publicly available information, Firerose UPLOAD is currently the only large-screen disposable e-cigarette product under the Extend brand.
