According to Romania TV on August 20th, the city of Iași in Romania has become the second city, after Cluj, to restrict smoking and e-cigarette use in public places.
In the resolution draft of the local council, it is proposed to completely ban all forms of smoking in the following places: public transport stations; children's playgrounds; sports venues and recreational facilities.
In certain areas, such as parks or beaches, smoking will only be allowed in specifically designated areas.
The Yaxi City Council will reserve 60 days after passing this resolution to mark and appropriately designate these areas.
These areas will be marked with large signs that say "No Smoking" along with the appropriate symbols.
