China Tobacco Sichuan Industrial Co., Ltd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of China Tobacco, announced today that its new tobacco division's "Kung Fu MINIG exterior design" has won a silver award in the 2023 International MUSE Design Awards.

On August 30, 2023, China Tobacco Sichuan Industrial Co., Ltd's New Tobacco Product Research and Development Center held the global launch ceremony for their latest product, Gongfu MINIG. According to the introduction, this product is Gongfu's first wireless charging heating device, with a design inspired by natural lines, resulting in a sleek body. The product is equipped with advanced features such as a sliding switch and an automatic seal cover, boasting an exceptionally long standby time. Despite its compact size, it is capable of heating 25 heating sticks. Additionally, it offers interactive capabilities and an easy-to-clean heating element.

The MUSE Design Awards, established in 2015, has successfully held eight editions to date. As one of the global award competitions under the International Awards Associate, this accolade invites design entries from a wide range of fields including architecture, interior design, product design, landscape design, lighting design, packaging design, and fashion design.

According to reports, the Muse Design Awards received over 6,300 entries from around the world for the year 2023. A panel of experts in the field of creativity and design rigorously evaluated and selected the final award-winning prizes, considering various aspects such as creativity, practicality, and social environmental impact.

The "Kung Fu MINIG Exterior Design" by the tobacco division of Sino Tobacco Corporation has been awarded the Silver Award after multiple rounds of evaluation by an international independent judging panel. The award also recognizes the efforts of the product manufacturer, Smoore Company. It is noteworthy that the packaging design of the Kung Fu heating device MINIS had previously won the Silver Award at the PENTAAWARDS in 2020.
In this edition, Gong Fu MINIG incorporated celestial elements into its "Gong Fu: Towards the Future" concept, presenting a design modeled after an "aerospace vessel". The organizers praised it in their award statement for its "impeccable concept and groundbreaking innovation".
