2Firsts, October 28, 2025 — According to the Royal Thai Police, authorities in Chiang Mai have dismantled a major online vape distribution network, seizing over 36,000 vape products worth more than ฿6.6 million（US$200,000）.

Deputy Police Chief Pol. Gen. Thatchai Pitaneelabut and Region 5 Commander Pol. Lt. Gen. Kritthaphon Yeesakhon announced the operation, which targeted online sales of e-cigarettes via the website Vapehaus (vapehaus.net).

Investigators found the group sold vapes through online orders and postal delivery. On October 27, officers raided three sites — one in Mueang Chiang Mai and two in Hang Dong District — uncovering hidden storage areas used for packaging and distribution.

Police seized 36,555 vape items valued at ฿6.6 million（US$200,000） and arrested two suspects, Kabisada (40) and Kritsana (31), both Chiang Mai residents. They confessed to being packaging staff earning ฿16,000 per month.

The operation also uncovered three LINE official accounts used for orders, with a total of 18,000 members. Financial analysis indicated an annual turnover of about ฿30 million（US$920,000）.

Authorities are now tracing the supply chain and identifying the financial backers behind the operation. The case forms part of Thailand’s national cybercrime suppression campaign, initiated under Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul’s directive to combat online illegal trade.
