In recent days, according to a report from WSaw, as Halloween approaches this year, the Smoke-Free Alliance of Wisconsin's Northwoods hopes to remind parents and young people that flavored e-cigarettes are not just a source of enjoyment. Understanding the dangers these candy-flavored tobacco products pose to children is crucial.

A recent study reveals that flavored e-cigarettes are particularly appealing to young people, making them more likely to experiment with e-cigarettes. According to the "Tobacco is Changing" campaign, four out of five young people who use tobacco initially start with flavored products.

E-cigarettes pose significant and preventable health risks to young people. These risks include an increased risk of addiction and long-term damage to brain development and respiratory health. Additionally, the use of e-cigarettes is associated with other tobacco products, such as smoking, which can cause even greater harm to the body.
