At the 77th Tobacco Science Research Conference, two scientific papers from China Tobacco Hunan IC were selected for oral presentation. The research covers an aerosol respiratory absorption model and a new model for tobacco storage pest control, earning broad recognition from international peers.

The 77th Tobacco Science Research Conference (TSRC) was held in Atlanta, Georgia, USA, from September 8 to 12, 2024. Two scientific papers from the China Tobacco Hunan IC Technology Center were selected for oral presentation.

The theme of this conference was "Tobacco Harm Reduction: What Have We Learned and How do We Move Forward?". A total of 57 oral presentations, 64 posters, and 7 panel sessions were included, covering a wide range of disciplines such as public health regulation, method development, clinical research, toxicology, agronomy, studies on electronic nicotine delivery systems (ENDS) usage behavior, and heated tobacco product (HTP) usage behavior.

Among China Tobacco Hunan IC' s presentations, the paper “Research on the respiratory absorption pattern of smoke aerosols” introduced an aerosol respiratory absorption model, drawing substantial attention from international experts.

Meanwhile, the paper “Research and application of key technologies for a new model of safe and environmentally friendly pest control of stored tobacco in high-rack warehouse” presented mature pest control solutions, earning broad recognition from global colleagues.
