UK Store Shut Down and Fined for Illegally Selling Over 2,700 Vapes
A UK store has been ordered to close and fined for illegally selling over 2,700 vapes, with employees found selling e-cigarettes and tobacco to minors. The store is required to remain closed until January next year.

According to a report from the Birmingham Mail on November 26, a store in Solihull, England, has been closed down for illegally selling over 2700 e-cigarettes.


A store named "Boss Mart 2" has been ordered to close by authorities for selling a large quantity of illegal tobacco and e-cigarettes. Employees of the store were also found selling e-cigarettes and tobacco to a minor. According to regulations, the store must remain closed until January of next year.


In January, the city council confiscated a total of 1,085 illegal disposable e-cigarettes, 120 packs of illegal tobacco, and 13 packs of illegal hand-rolled cigarettes from the store.


During the second inspection on April 16th, law enforcement officers found 1624 illegal disposable e-cigarettes, 125 packs of illegal tobacco, and 13 packs of hand-rolled tobacco hidden in the store.


On July 30, during a test, the store staff sold e-cigarettes to children, and on October 2, they sold illegal tobacco products. On October 25, the store was ordered to close.


The shop and its owner have been fined £2250. The closure order requires the shop to cease operations until January 9, 2025.
