UK Wholesaler: Withdrawal of Lost Mary Announced

This is the second time that ELFBAR has been involved in such scandals.

Ellesmere Zhu - Booker Wholesale UK informed its retailers to withdraw Lost Mary BM600 disposable made by ELFBAR company from sale due to a non-compliance issue where some products were found to exceed the permitted e-liquid fill level exposed by Daily Mail for the second time this year.

Earlier this month, all Elf Bar 600 Disposable pods were withdrawn from Booker after an investigation by the Daily Mail found some Elf Bar products contained tank capacities above the legal limit for the UK market.

Thailand’s Customs Region 2 searched a private logistics company in Mukdahan province and seized 22,800 vape pod heads with no evidence of customs clearance. The seized items weighed 389.50 kg in total and were valued at more than THB 4.5 million (about USD 143,581.90). The photo shows packaging marked “YOOZ”.

Bernama reported that comedian Shahmira Muhamad, better known as Shuib Sepahtu, was fined RM10,000 (about US$2,460.93) after pleading guilty to promoting an electronic cigarette product on a YouTube podcast in 2024. The magistrate ordered one month’s jail in default of payment, and he paid the fine. He was charged over a promotion at 4.26pm on Oct 22, 2024, under Section 9(1) of the Control of Smoking Products for Public Health Act 2024 (Act 852).
