Ukraine Customs Seizes 53,000 Smuggled ELFBAR
Ukrainian customs officials seized a truck carrying a large quantity of banned e-cigarettes and other smuggled goods from Italy.

According to SUD news on November 1st, Ukrainian customs officials intercepted a freight truck coming from Italy at the "Starich Gossack" border crossing between Ukraine and Moldova. The truck was found to be carrying a significant amount of e-cigarettes and other smuggled goods that are prohibited from entering the country.

 

Customs officials in Ukraine have reported confiscating a total of 53,000 ELFBAR e-cigarettes and 11,000 GORD and VOZOL brand e-cigarette devices, amounting to a total of 64,000 items.

 

Currently, customs officials are determining the quantity and value of other illegally smuggled goods and taking appropriate action according to customs violations. Since July 11, 2023, Ukraine has implemented a law that prohibits the entry of e-cigarettes and their related products.
