Ukrainian Police Bust Massive E-Cigarette Smuggling Operation
Ukrainian police in Lviv region dismantled a massive e-cigarette and e-liquid smuggling ring worth over $70,000 USD.

According to a report by Portal on February 10, the police in Lviv Oblast, Ukraine recently uncovered a smuggling case involving e-cigarettes and e-liquid, with a total value exceeding 3 million hryvnia (approximately 70,000 US dollars).

According to data provided by law enforcement agencies, this group promoted its products through the instant messaging app "Telegram" and shipped goods to customers through the mail, with a warehouse located in Khmelnytskyi city. During this operation, the police seized about 2,000 e-cigarettes and related devices, as well as a large amount of e-liquid, with a total value exceeding 3 million hryvnias (approximately $70,000).


According to news images released by a Ukrainian media portal, the e-cigarette in question is branded with the label "ELFBAR," suspected to be the "ELFBAR Combo 25000.


Currently, this group is accused of violating Article 201-4, paragraph 1 of the Ukrainian Criminal Code (smuggling of taxable goods).
