Vietnam Authorities Seize Over 100,000 Illegal e-Cigarette Products
Over 108,000 e-cigarette products were seized in Vietnam's Henan Province in the largest illegal e-cigarette confiscation case to date.

According to a report by ANTD.VN on October 29th, the Quality and Technical Supervision Bureau of Henan Province in Vietnam detained and confiscated over 108,000 e-cigarette products within the urban area of Fuli City. This marks the largest case of illegal e-cigarette confiscation handled by the inspection team.

Previously, the third team of the Quality and Technical Supervision Bureau conducted a surprise inspection of Yongfa Technology Co., Ltd. in collaboration with the second team of the Henan Economic Police. Following the on-site inspection, approximately 1.2 tons of various packaging boxes, 16 kilograms of cleaning agents, two hot welding machines, one film sealing machine, 10 kilograms of sandpaper, 100 kilograms of plastic bags, and 108,782 e-cigarette products were confiscated.

During the inspection, the company's chairman failed to produce any invoices, certificates, or documents related to the aforementioned activities. The third inspection team has seized all goods suspected of violations. This is the largest illegal e-cigarette incident discovered by the inspection team to date.

In accordance with the interdepartmental collaboration regulations of Henan Province and the handling of crime reports, and considering the signs of criminal activity in this incident, the third supervisory group has transferred all case files and physical evidence to the law enforcement agency of Henan Province for further investigation and lawful disposition.
