It has been reported that Decree No. 26/2023/ND-CP will come into effect on July 15, 2023.

 

According to Annex II of Decree No. 26/2023/ND-CP issued by the Vietnamese government, the General Department of Customs has made the following notable changes to the list of goods subject to import tax exemptions.

 

The import duty for all products belonging to group 24.04 has been set at a discounted rate of 50%. These products include raw materials containing tobacco, reconstituted tobacco, nicotine, or alternative tobacco or nicotine substances that can be inhaled without combustion, as well as other nicotine products used for administering nicotine into the human body. This category also encompasses e-cigarette products.
