According to Kakaku.com, British American Tobacco Japan (BAT Japan) announced the “glo Hilo Plus・McLaren Racing Inspired Limited-Edition Set” in collaboration with McLaren Racing, and will begin sales on March 3 via the glo Store Ginza and the official glo online store.
The limited-edition set is based on the heated tobacco device “glo Hilo Plus.” It brings together a limited-edition device and dedicated accessories in one package, and is positioned as the most premium limited collection in the glo series.
In terms of exterior design, the limited device features McLaren Racing’s signature papaya color as an accent on the inside of the charging case and on the sliding section. The side of the case displays both the McLaren Racing and glo logos.
The charging case uses a rubberized, non-slip grip design. It also incorporates a brushed-metal texture enabled by advanced processing techniques.
As part of the limited-edition set accessories, it also includes a dedicated sleeve made with Alcantara material (a man-made microfiber fabric), a limited-design charging dock, and a warranty card indicating the limited specification, all provided in special packaging.
The set is priced at JPY 30,000 (approximately USD 200, converted at USD 1 ≈ JPY 150).
