2Firsts, September 18, 2025 - According to obemdito on September 17, in a joint operation involving the Brazilian Federal Police, Border Patrol, Brazilian Army and Navy, law enforcement officers successfully seized illegal e-cigarettes.
On that day, a patrol team discovered a suspicious trail in the jungle and upon further investigation, found 20 boxes containing POD type e-cigarettes. These items were subsequently confiscated according to the law and transferred to the federal police station in Guayaquil for further legal action.
According to the Federal Police of Brazil, the e-cigarettes seized in this operation are worth approximately 500,000 Brazilian Reais (about 90,000 US dollars), which is a major blow to the organized crime groups operating in the region. This action not only successfully reduced the circulation of illegal products in border areas, but also improved the overall security situation in the region.
