BAT Rolls Out Updated glo™ and neo™ Series in Japan Starting May
British American Tobacco Japan will launch a limited-edition version of its heated tobacco device, the glo Hyper Pro “Aurora,” starting May 26. The company also revamped its neo™ line on April 15, introducing updated names, flavors, and packaging. A new tobacco stick variant, “Neo Brilliant Red Fruits for Hyper,” was added to cater to evolving consumer preferences in Japan.

According to PR Times on May 12th, British American Tobacco Japan has launched the fourth phase of its brand promotion campaign for its heated tobacco device, glo™, called "Live Life in Color," introducing a range of limited edition products and innovative flavors.

 

The company announced that starting from May 26th, a limited edition color of their heated tobacco device "glo™ HYPER pro" called "glo Hyper Pro Aurora" will be available for purchase exclusively on their official website. Inspired by the Northern Lights, this product features a design that combines variable color tones and a metallic texture, perfect for the transition from spring to summer. The product will only be available through official online channels, with a limited quantity and will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis.

Starting from April 15th, the company has also simultaneously launched a comprehensive upgrade for its glo™ exclusive pod brand neo™. This update includes three dimensions: product names, flavor adjustments, and packaging design optimization. The new packaging pays more attention to color identification, and different strengths of mint flavors are differentiated by color depth. The mint product series are respectively renamed as "Neo Arctic Menthol Hyper Edition," "Neo Iced Menthol Hyper Edition," and "Neo Chilled Menthol Hyper Edition." At the same time, for the mint flavors with berry sweetness characteristics, the product series formerly known as "Neo Tropical Swirl Hyper Edition" will be uniformly renamed as "Neo Brilliant Berry Hyper Edition," that is, "Neo Brilliant Tropical Hyper Edition.

 

Starting on May 12th, neo™ will be introducing a new limited edition flavor called "Neo Brilliant Red Fruits for Hyper", which is based on a combination of red fruits. This flavor combines cherry and peach elements and provides a dual-stage taste experience through the use of cooling capsules for flavor release.
