According to Wholesale Manager, UK nicotine pouch brand SNÜ has expanded its “Extra Strong” range with three new flavours—Wild Cherry, Cherry Cola and Tropical Punch—aiming to broaden flavour options within its higher-nicotine line-up.
The report said the new flavours will be available in four nicotine strengths: 9mg, 12mg, 18mg and 60mg. SNÜ said the launches are designed around fruit and mixed-drink flavour profiles. Tropical Punch combines mango and pineapple notes, and the brand said it has deliberately avoided the mint-driven “cooling” sensation commonly seen in the market.
Javier Soria De Vicente, SNÜ’s international business development manager, was quoted as saying the launch is intended to align with shifting adult consumer preferences and to widen the brand’s reach as nicotine pouches enter more retail channels. The company also said its marketing strategy has delivered approximately 450% year-on-year growth.
On in-store merchandising, SNÜ said its packs continue to feature a “rub-and-smell” label, intended to discourage shoppers from opening cans to smell the contents before purchase—helping to reduce potential retail losses while encouraging trial.
SNÜ explained that “rub-and-smell” refers to a scented label or coating: consumers gently rub a designated area on the pack with their fingers to release an aroma that reflects the flavour, allowing them to gauge the taste without opening the can.
The report also noted that the UK will introduce a new excise regime for vaping products—including e-liquids—under the Vaping Products Duty from 1 October 2026, with the tax and compliance environment for nicotine-related categories expected to tighten further.
