According to the latest trade data released by the General Administration of Customs of the People's Republic of China, 2FIRSTS has compiled the e-cigarette exports to Paraguay in September 2023 as follows:
Exports amounted to approximately 9.24 million US dollars, with a month-on-month increase of 4.36% and a year-on-year increase of 44.98%.
The export volume reached approximately 175 tons, marking a month-on-month increase of 4.34% and a year-on-year growth of 86.31%.
The export unit price stood at $52.70 per kilogram, with a month-on-month increase of 0.02% and a year-on-year decline of 22.18%. The average price of "e-cigarettes and similar personal electronic vaporizers" was $5.04 per unit.
Among them, "e-cigarettes and similar personal electronic vaporizers" accounted for 10.99% of the export product category, while "non-combustible products without tobacco or reconstituted tobacco, containing nicotine for non-smoking use" accounted for 89.01%.
According to data from Statista, it is projected that the revenue of the e-cigarette market in Paraguay will reach $11.3 million by 2023. The market is expected to grow at a compound annual growth rate of 6.74% from 2023 to 2028. In terms of per capita income, it is estimated that the average e-cigarette consumption per person in Paraguay will be $2.03 in 2023. The e-cigarette market in Paraguay is booming due to the country's lenient regulations and the increasing popularity of e-cigarettes among young people.
