According to updated trade data from the General Administration of Customs, 2FIRSTS compiled the e-cigarette export data from China to Japan in May 2024.
The details are as follows:
The export volume amounted to approximately 12.27 million US dollars, which represents a 23% decrease from the previous period and an 81% decrease from the same period last year.
The export volume decreased by 10.31% compared to the previous period and by 79.86% year-on-year, reaching around 90 tons.
The export unit price is $135.47 per kilogram, a decrease of 14.1% compared to the previous period and 5.5% year-on-year; the average price of "e-cigarettes and similar personal electronic vaporization devices" is $27.7 per unit.
Among them, "e-cigarettes and similar personal electronic vaporizing devices" accounted for 96.6% of the export category, while products "not containing tobacco or reconstituted tobacco, containing nicotine for non-combustible use" accounted for 3.4%.
