China's E-cigarette Export Data Update for April 2024
China's e-cigarette exports in April 2024 totaled approximately $8.95 billion, with the US leading as the top destination.

On May 20, the General Administration of Customs of China updated the export trade data for e-cigarettes in April 2024. The data shows that in April, the total export value of e-cigarettes from China was approximately $895 million, a decrease of 13.5% compared to the previous year. The export volume was 20,468 tons, an increase of 3.58% year-on-year.

The top ten e-cigarette export destinations are the United States, United Kingdom, South Korea, Germany, the Netherlands, Malaysia, Russia, Canada, Japan, and the United Arab Emirates. The United States remains in the top spot with exports reaching $328 million, leading ahead of other countries. Following closely is the United Kingdom with exports amounting to $100 million. South Korea, Germany, and the Netherlands are ranked third, fourth, and fifth respectively with export amounts of $74.76 million, $62.20 million, and $42.47 million.

In April, China's total e-cigarette exports reached $895 million, with a month-on-month increase of 8.46% but a year-on-year decrease of 13.52%.

The export volume is approximately 20,468 tons, showing a month-on-month increase of 11.60% and a year-on-year increase of 3.58%.

The export unit price was $43.72 per kilogram, a decrease of 2.8% month-on-month and 16.5% year-on-year; the average price of "e-cigarettes and similar personal electronic vapor devices" was $5.25 per unit.

Among them, "e-cigarettes and similar personal electronic vaporizers" accounted for 25.8% of the export category, while "products that do not contain tobacco or reconstituted tobacco, but contain nicotine for non-combustible inhalation" accounted for 74.2%.
