On the morning of September 15th, the Dortmund Exhibition Center will be open.

The Special Committee received feedback from its member companies about the inconvenience caused by the COVID-19 epidemic, preventing them from attending international industry exhibitions and consequently missing potential business opportunities. To support its members in exporting and solving their business challenges, the committee organized the "ECCC International Exhibition Team" to travel to Germany to participate in the Dortmund Tobacco Exhibition. The aim is to showcase the excellence of Chinese electronic cigarette companies overseas and help domestic enterprises attain more foreign business opportunities, thus contributing to the country's export earnings.

The ECCC International Exhibition Alliance, jointly organized by ECCC and 2firsts.com, includes five companies: Shenzhen Conze Technology Co., Ltd., Shenzhen Meizhonglian Technology Co., Ltd., Shenzhen Huaxin Technology Co., Ltd., Shenzhen Wulian Technology Co., Ltd., and Shenzhen Happy Technology Co., Ltd. The alliance is led by Jason, the diplomatic assistant of the E-cigarette Professional Committee of China Electronics Chamber of Commerce (ECCC).

The staff introduced the exhibits to the audience.

The ECCC booth can be found at booth 1.A28 in Hall 1. It features large posters promoting ECCC, 2FIRSTS, and five other companies, and showcases dozens of products. The booth has attracted many professional attendees, and on the first day of the exhibition, approximately 500 people stopped by to inquire about the products and explore potential business opportunities with Chinese e-cigarette companies.

The President and Co-founder of the European E-cigarette Association (IEVA), Dustin Dahlmann and Cipri Boboi, made a visit to the ECCC exhibition booth. Dahlmann welcomed the ECCC international delegation and invited Jason, the ECCC's diplomatic assistant, to participate in meetings at the Dortmund exhibition. If the opportunity arises, they also expressed a desire for Jason to visit the IEVA office in Hamburg, Germany, in order to further strengthen the strategic partnership between the ECCC and IEVA.

Jason, the diplomatic assistant of the Electronic Cigarette Committee of the China Electronic Commerce Association (ECCC), delivered a captivating speech titled "Sharing Trends of China's Electronic Cigarette Foreign Trade" at the Bruges exhibition hall this afternoon. Using the "20-year vaporization" history of China's electronic cigarette industry as a starting point, Jason shared the sector's export data and primary overseas markets. This emphasized the importance of Chinese electronic cigarette enterprises in the industry and Shenzhen's position as the global "vapor valley." Jason conveyed the concept of high-quality legal and compliant development and encouraged a positive attitude towards export, instilling confidence in Chinese electronic cigarette enterprises for creating revenue through export.

Jason's Speech in Person

According to the "2022 Blue Book on Export of Electronic Cigarette Industry" released by the Electronic Cigarette Professional Committee of China Electronic Chamber of Commerce, China's electronic cigarette exports reached RMB 138.3 billion in 2021, with domestic sales of RMB 19.7 billion. Correspondingly, the production capacity of electronic cigarette devices in 2021 reached about 2.5 billion units, accounting for over 90% of the global total production capacity of electronic cigarette devices. Among them, the production capacity of closed electronic cigarette devices, including disposable electronic cigarettes and pod vapes, is approximately 2.1 billion units. Core components such as mouthpieces, batteries, and atomizers, as well as accessories like battery, hardware, packaging materials, silicone, testing, and logistics, have driven nearly millions of direct and indirect employees in the related supply chain. In the first half of 2021, the electronic cigarette industry's export growth increased by approximately 10%. According to the industry's development rule in previous years, the export in the second half of the year usually doubles, with predicted export amount reaching RMB 180 billion in 2022 and the production of over 3 billion units of electronic cigarettes, with a growth rate of 35%. The development of the electronic cigarette industry benefits from Shenzhen's complete industrial and supply chain system. It is precisely because of the many high-quality electronic cigarette supply chain enterprises that the industry is increasingly growing and developing. With the legalization and standardization of the industry, our supporting supply chain system will further improve in compliance and quality safety.

The first day of the Dortmund Tobacco Expo ended successfully. The "ECCC International Exhibition Team" is expected to continue the success of the first day during the next two days of the exhibition, bringing more surprises and the latest industry information.
