Dawn-Marie Hutchinson appointed as Senior VP and CIO of Reynolds American Inc., leading tech strategy and operations effective Oct. 1, 2025.

·The appointment will officially take effect on October 1, 2025.

 


 

On September 11, 2025 - According to a report from Reynolds American on September 10, Reynolds American Inc., a subsidiary of the British American Tobacco Group (BAT Group), announced the appointment of Dawn-Marie Hutchinson as Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer. In this role, Hutchinson will lead Reynolds' technology strategy and operations, including digital office, core platforms, data and analytics, network security, and IT service delivery. She will officially join Reynolds American's leadership team on October 1, 2025.

 

Hutchinson joined the global British American Tobacco Group in 2021 after serving as Chief Information Security Officer in the multinational manufacturing and consumer goods industry. Prior to joining British American Tobacco, she held the position of Chief Information Security Officer for drug research and supply chain at GlaxoSmithKline (GSK), and previously held similar positions at Urban Outfitters Group. Her career began at The Walt Disney Company, where she worked as a business analyst.

 

During his tenure at British American Tobacco, Hutchinson significantly expanded the global cybersecurity program by establishing regional support models and creating a network defense center.

 

In his new role, Hachinsson will lead the modernization and transformation of Renault's IT system, enhance operational resilience, and drive value creation for Renault's operating companies through data and artificial intelligence.

 

In addition to his work at the British American Tobacco Group, Hutchinson also serves as a non-executive director at Xalient Company.

 

As a resident of New Hampshire, Hachinson holds a Bachelor of Political Science from the University of New Hampshire and a Master of Business Administration from Saint Joseph's University in Philadelphia.
