
According to the updated trade data from the General Administration of Customs of the People's Republic of China, 2FIRSTS has compiled the e-cigarette export statistics from China to the United States in September 2023. Here are the details:

The export volume amounted to approximately $256 million, with a month-on-month growth of 1.42% yet a year-on-year decline of 4.18%.

The export volume reached 6,036,602 kilograms, approximately 6,037 tons, representing a 3.63% increase compared to the previous period, and a 20.13% increase compared to the same period last year.

The export unit price dropped to $42.39 per kilogram, down 2.14% compared to the previous month and down 20.24% year-on-year. The average price for "e-cigarettes and similar personal electronic vaporizers" was $3.11 per unit.

Among them, "e-cigarettes and similar personal electronic vaporizing devices" accounted for 21.48% of the export product categories, while "non-combustible products without tobacco or reconstituted tobacco, containing nicotine for inhalation" accounted for 78.52%.

According to data from Statista, the revenue of the e-cigarette market in the United States is projected to reach $8.3 billion by 2023. It is also estimated that the market will experience an annual growth rate of 3.93% from 2023 to 2028 (CAGR 2023-2028). The United States serves as the primary source of income for the e-cigarette industry, with an estimated per capita income of approximately $27.55 in 2023. With the increasing emphasis on healthier alternatives to traditional tobacco products, the e-cigarette market in the United States is experiencing rapid growth.
