As part of this initiative, ELUX has designed special collection bins and plans to distribute 200,000 of these across e-cigarette stores in the UK this year. The bins will be used to collect discarded disposable e-cigarette products of any brand, which will then be transported to facilities for processing plastic and battery component. Moreover, ELUX bins will be accepting every disposable e-cigarettes regardless of the brand, and for every e-cigarette collected, ELUX will donate $0.1 to the Green Wing Charity, demonstrating its commitment to both environmental sustainability and social responsibility. This initiative won the Vapouround Awards in the "Best Sustainable Initiative" category.

2FIRSTS has learned at the show that the case of ELUX is not alone. Several renowned enterprises participating in the expo launched their respective environmental solutions, such as the full-chain recycling system by Smoore and RELX, ELUX's recycling bins, and Flonq's recyclable e-cigarette device, the Flonq Plus-E.

Smoore announced a partnership with RELX to launch the world's first end-to-end, full-chain recycling system for disposable products in the UK. This system involves manufacturers, brand owners, retailers, consumers, and compliant processing institutions. Consumers can return used disposable products through courier companies or retail stores and receive corresponding benefits. The professional recycling institution partnering with Smoore will provide an environmental solution that guarantees 100% disassembly and zero landfill. Smoore expressed that this system will minimize the environmental impact of disposable products, thereby achieving sustainable development in the industry.
