Exclusion of Nicotine Manufacturers from Moscow Investment Support
Moscow committee proposes excluding nicotine device manufacturers from investment support and economic incentives in the city.

According to a report by PnP on September 26th, the Entrepreneurship, Innovation Development, and Information Technology Committee of Moscow City Duma has endorsed a bill that excludes nicotine consumption device manufacturers from the list of supported investment entities in Moscow.

This means that manufacturers of nicotine-containing products and e-cigarettes will no longer be eligible for economic incentives and urban support for their operations. The Moscow City Law on "Moscow City Investment Policy and State Support for Investment Entities" is under revision.

Valery Golovchenko, Chairman of the Moscow City Duma Committee for Entrepreneurship, Innovation Development, and Information Technology, has stated that the bill has received support from the Moscow City Duma's Department of National Law and the Moscow Prosecutor's Office. The committee has recommended that the Moscow City Duma pass this bill.
